GOLD VERMEIL
What is gold vermeil? Gold vermeil is a thick layer (2.5 Microns) of 18K solid Gold on sterling silver.Gold vermeil is considered fine jewellery. Gold vermeil provides the luxury look and feel of gold jewellery at a fraction of the price.
HOW TO CLEAN GOLD VERMEIL JEWELLERY
To avoid tarnish from occuring, be sure to clean your pieces regularly by wiping them with a soft, damp cloth. No chemicals.
To remove tarnish, buff gently with your complimentary jewellery cloth.
Worth noting: polishing cloths can be abrasive so apply gentle pressure and don’t over polish.
HOW TO STORE GOLD VERMEIL JEWELLERY
Store in a safe, dry place away from heat such as anti tarnish case/ pouch.
Gold vermeil will eventually tarnish naturally over time. This occurs when the jewellery is exposed to environmental factors like moisture, air pollution and other items that contain sulfur.
